i always save any scrap that i think i can make into anything new. when there’s enough, i repurpose it into a new project, of which this is one. i love the way that having a specific amount of rope shapes the piece, and stimulates my creativity. sometimes working within a set of boundaries can facilitate something entirely different, and these ones are often my favorites.

*This one is particular was made with rope that was repurposed from a hammock, and as such, is not without minor blemishes

Made from repurposed cotton rope, scrap wool yarn, and wooden dowel

macrame width - 7 inches

dowel width - 12 inches

length - 3 feet 3 inches
